Licence Deal for VisionMetric Ltd

CSTC Ltd & Associates in association with Kent Enterprise has finalised a major licence agreement that will allow VisionMetric Ltd, a company specialising in forensic image analysis, to commercially exploit knowledge arising from research at Kent University. CSTC previously helped VisionMetric to ‘spin-out’ from a University Department and also helped secure funding from the South East Proof-Of-Concept Fund, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the DTI.

CSTC spin-out UltraSoC Technologies signs Licence Agreement with the University of Kent

Cambridge, UK, February 2006-CSTC Ltd and Associates announced today that the embedded systems developer UltraSoC Technologies Ltd (UST) has signed a licence agreement with the University of Kent (UoK) for exclusive access to an important portfolio of patents. Included in the portfolio are PCT filing applications; Integrated Circuit with Debug Support Interface, Debug Condition Detection and Multiple Chip Semiconductor Device which discloses a novel semiconductor device wherein two chips become 'bridged' to create an extended architecture. This technique brings great potential benefit in terms of increased resources with reduced chip 'real-estate' or mask costs.

Cambridge, UK, March 2005-CSTC Ltd and Associates have secured two new licence deals for the University of Kent in the UK. The first of which is for a protein disulphide isomerase (PDI) technology for the Department of Biosciences and, the second, a royalty bearing collaboration between the Department of Electronics and Harada Industries (Europe).
