Case 1 Technology Re-positioning & Portfolio Brokering - OLED Technology
CSTC was brought in by the COO of a LSE-listed licensing company to commercialise an OLED portfolio from a leading US University. CSTC audited the technology and the patent portfolio for display and photovoltaic applications as well as other, more down-stream, applications. The Company advised a maximum valuation strategy for not only the know-how portfolio but also re-organised and strengthened the technical programme that was running in the US, to enhance the offering. Working with an independent European investment banking firm CSTC oversaw the successful sale of the portfolio to a multinational corporate.
